New York Fashion Week: Makeup Spotlight

As you may already be aware, 'The Big Apple' is currently being bombarded with the presence of New York Fashion Week! Directly from the upholding event, models have since been seen to don the catwalk with ultra-feminine, red-carpet-ready-dresses of velvet, chantilly lace, chiffon and silk with cap sleeves, tiered skirts, high necks and beaded embroidery. Therefore meaning that new Fall collections hanker back to a glamourous world of modernity, transformation and prosperity. Opulent fabrics and brilliant colours in column gowns and dresses with drop waists and extended headlines have specifically adorned the spotlight and have been reflective on makeup: Jewel- Toned Shaddows. As colours varied from blue and green jewel tones to hues of red and yellow.

The pictures above, show just how gorgeous the display of jewel-toned shadows were at NYFW! Everything from peridot, emerald, sapphire, ruby, garnet and blue topaz were seen… and the best way to make this look really stand out is to apply the shadow using a wet brush. So check out this TBD video demonstrating exactly how to do that using an amethyst shade!

Will you be donning the 'Purple Reign' shade?
